The Temple Town, the abode of Lord Sitaramachandra Swamy, has the unique distinction of housing as many as 13 bathing ghats on the banks of the Godavari.
The Telangana State Government will organize the Godavari pushkaralu 2015 in five districts Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Warangal and Khammam
The Main Godavari Pushkar Ghats will be located at Basar in Adilabad, Dharmapuri and Vemulawada in Karimnagar and Bhadrachalam in Khammam.
A total of 67 pushkar ghats will be constructed along the river in the five districts, Advisor to the government on Culture K.V. Ramanachary told media persons after a meeting to review the arrangements. The meeting was convened by Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma.

KSRTC Hire a Bus service information how to book a bus in KSRTC

Hire a Bus

Buses are given on hire to the public for purposes such as marriages, excursions etc., on the basis of rates fixed to operate between two fixed points which is known as Casual Contract.

Terms and Conditions

• Re.1/- concession to students of recognised Schools and Colleges of the state (including interstate travel)
• The kilometers will be calculated from depot to depot
• Booking has to be done at least 3 days in advance with full details of the tour programme
• Payment has to be made in advance along with 20% refundable Security Deposit
• In case of Inter-state contract, Permit Charges and Entry Tax shall be extra
• Furnishing of passenger list is compulsory in case of Inter-state contract
• A day means 24 hours from the time of departure from the depot
• In case of delayed arrival, extra amount will be recovered on hourly basis as per above rates up to 5 hours delay
• Rs. 1000/- shall be levied as special fee per bus for more than two days Inter State Casual Contract.
• For Interstate contract Rs. 1/- per km will be charged extra.
• Service Tax @ the rate of 12.36% for 40% of the total amount

You may purchase tickets for your journey through KSRTC buses from their counter or through ksrtc bus online booking.

• For purchasing tickets through ksrtc bus online booking, you have to do ksrtc online reservation.
• You may also purchase tickets from ksrtc ticket booking counters spread through whole state of Karnataka.
• For offline booking of tickets you have to stand in long queue at ksrtc ticket booking counters. Through ksrtc online reservation, you don’t have to stand in long queue.

You need only printer and internet connection for getting your e-ticket for bus journey. So every personal computer has become ksrtc ticket booking counter.

Bookings for holders of concessional pass like Physically Handicapped, Blind Persons, Police Warrants, Senior Citizens, and duty Passes for KSRTC employees, family pass for KSRTC employees, Freedom Tickets are not permitted on Internet.

1.The APSRTC provides only the facility for transaction with APSRTC's Passenger Reservation System through the Internet. APSRTC's rules for reservation and booking apply to all such transactions along with special conditions imposed for Internet based booking. The special conditions and terms of service applicable to Internet booking are detailed in this document.
2.The following terms and conditions will apply if you wish to use the APSRTC’s online ticket booking service offered through the APSRTC website www.apsrtconline.in. Please go through the conditions carefully and if you accept them, you may register and transact on the site, you are deemed to have agreed to the terms and conditions set’ forth below. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, you must not transact on this Website. Once you have clicked the ‘Agree’ button at the bottom of Terms and Conditions at login page, you have entered into a formal agreement with APSRTC for the purpose of transactions on this website.
