TSRTC(Telangana State Road transport corporation) is provding special buses for medaram jatara 2016 speaking on this Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy said devotees to Sammakka Saralamma Jatara are welcomed with good transport arrangement are done as they deployed 4,000 buses for the purposeands informed TSRTC has made contingency plans to operate an additional 2,000 buses if the devotees rush will exceed the expected numbers in the jatara for medaram jatara 2016. he also added 12,000 employees were drafted for special duties during the Medaram Jatara 2016 to serve the devotees from February 14th to 21st 2016 to the people coming to jatara in private vechiles he said local shuttle services would be operated to transport the devotees coming to Medaram jatara 2016 in private vehicles as they were not allowed near the Jatara venue as to avoid unnecessary traffic and parking problems at Jatara venue.
The Corporation officials have been making efforts to ensure smooth and hassle free travel to devotees who would be reaching Medaram from different parts of the country. Medaram jatara is going to be held from Feburary 17th to Feburary 21st 2016
TSRTC is charging additional 50 percent of changes for this jatara and incresing buses day by day based on the devotess
To avoid traffic jams near the medaram jatara governmnet has made arrangements for one-way traffic system and devotees who board buses at the jatara place would be issued tickets at Thadwai to avoid swelling of traffic at Medaram. Corporation mobile teams would tour in 20 jeeps to monitor traffic near the jatara venue all the festive days and take care of every facility in the medaram jatara venue
A total of 11,000 RTC staff including 150 officers, 350 observers, 8,000 drivers and conductors and 700 other staff would be engaged in jatara duty. Finance and Civil Supplies Minister Eatala Rajender said that facilities in bus stands have been enhanced in the State after the formation of Telangana. Besides Karimnagar, all bus stations should be modernised, said by Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy.

TSRTC also known as Telangana State Road Transport Corporation today in the press meet told its decided to operate 3,605(three thousand six hundred five) bus services to the biggest jatara in india i.e Sammakka-Sarakka Jatara,which is to be held from February 17 to 19 in Medaram of Warangal district in telanagana state.
A total of 3,605 buses will be deployed to take devotees from 51 points in the State to Medaram. As many as 1,910 buses from Warangal, 640 buses from Karimnagar, 410 buses from Khammam, 225 buses from Nizamabad, 360 buses from Adilabad and 60 buses from Rangareddy (Hyderabad) will take devotees to their destinations. We have another 400 buses reserved to meet any exigencies,” he said. TSRTC is setting up temporary bus stations at Medaram with minimum facilities for devotees.
APSRTC Andhrapradesh State Road Transport Corporation told it will run special buses for the sammakka salaramma jatara or medaram jatara 2016 which is going to be held in Feburary 2016

Mahender reddy also visited the RTC bus station complex and the places and conducted review meeting to know the works going on for Medaram jataram 2016 with officials over the arrangements and told to provide best services and be prepared for more buses if it is required based on the rush for the jatara from February 17th 2016 to Feburary 19th 2016.In a press meet he also said that they would operate special bus services to the biennial jatara from 51 places from all 10 districts of the Telanagana State. The Warangal district administration were also informed for a temporary bus stand and they will erect temporary bus stand at Medaram on the sprawling 50 acres of land in the medaram village for the facily of the piligrims he also told they will be providing best amenities for pilgrims of medaram jatara 2016 such as - toilets, drinking water, sheds, queue lines etc and they are spending almost cost of Rs. 1.92 crore in the well being of the piligrims.A total of 29 queue lines would be setup at different places in medaram .

A total of 7,300 drivers, 2,500 conductors, 1,000 security personnel, 500 supervisors and 150 other officers will be drafted for jatara special duties. The RTC will be charging Rs 150 from Warangal to Medaram for adults and Rs 310 from Hyderabad to Medaram. In super luxury service, it will be charge Rs 190 from Warangal to Medaram per adult and Rs 420 from Hyderabad to Medaram. The AC bus fare will be Rs 230 from Warangal and Rs 510 from Hyderabad to Medaram.
TSRTC will a special drive of plying adequate number of special buses for the famous Sammakka and Sarakka Jathara which is considered the biggest Tribal Jathara of Medaram in Warangal to be conducted in February.
